During an Executive Business Review, you might recap product usage, address any roadblocks to success, and sync on the long-term vision of your partnership. As you can imagine, there are many action items that need to occur before, during, and after an EBR to make it impactful.

When to use an EBR Project Blueprint

This Executive Business Review Blueprint equips Customer Success teams with a standard set of Tasks to follow for a successful meeting and beyond. Teams can apply this Project prior to a scheduled EBR (e.g., 30, 60, or 90 days out) so that they are well prepared in advance. In addition, this EBR Blueprint offers a great starting point for teams who may not already have a process in place.

In this Project template, we’ve included a number of Tasks categorized under two main Milestones - EBR Prep and Post-EBR Follow Up.

What data points or information will you need to complete or add?

The way that you conduct Executive Business Reviews may vary, so you’ll want to take a look at the Tasks and edit as needed. You may also want to adjust the Milestones to fit your specific processes and timelines. We provided two general Milestones to get you started. Depending on your organization, you can make these Projects as simple or detailed as you wish.

How can you customize this for other use cases?

This EBR Blueprint includes the use of Vitally Tasks, Notes, Docs, and Conversations (emails). All of these elements can be customized to fit your particular use case, industry, and Customer Success motion. For example, you might want to create a Project template for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) or you might have a separate template for an Account Manager / CSM Transition.
